HELLO!

Welcome to Four Sisters of Faith! I am the fourth of five daughters...seventh of eight children. I am wife to Skippy, mother to Goose, Bean, and Kiddo (a 6'1" 15 year old boy with Asperger's Syndrome who is ALWAYS HUNGRY), and mother-in-law to Tang and Tex. I love the Lord with all my heart, and I thank him daily for the many blessings he has given me. We live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, where everyday we are amazed at the AWESOME wonder of this beautiful world that God has created for all of us!

I love all things country and/or primitive (sorry Cathy!), taking walks, facebook, twitter, reading (I love Christian fiction), BLOGGING, things that are homemade, the 1800's, the smell of bacon frying and coffee perking over a campfire, sewing, quilting,....the list is endless. But the thing I love and enjoy the most, is just being with my family.

I have been blogging for about two years now over at Goose Hill Academy and recently, my husband and I started Goose Hill Farm. I have been wanting to find a way for my sisters and I to do something "together" and thought this just might be the way to go. Thankfully, they all really like the idea, and it all seems to be falling into place. Thank you, God!

As we share our faith, lives, families, hobbies, etc., It is my hope that all who visit here, will leave having been encouraged and up-lifted, and with a smile on their face.
